Welcome to the New Liz Ryan Design Website

Hello and welcome to our newly remodelled space. Our cyber world space that is… The Liz Ryan Design team, along with our website design team, Anchorwave, spent all year trying to make this site as fresh, sophisticated (with a little fun!) and as user friendly as possible while still conveying what we can do and how we can help you with your individual project. Please feel free to browse and let us know how we did. It will be updated often so continue to stop by to see what we are up to!

Make sure you also take a look at the “Feature Project”, which you can find on the home page. This project will change quarterly. After you view the project, come back here and read a little about the special elements, designs, challenges, etc.. of the particular project. Again, if you have any questions or thoughts drop us a line or an email. We would love to hear from you!

This quarter’s feature project is a model that was complete last fall in the Stone Canyon area. Being that this was a model home we had many perimeters that we had to stick to, but even with those we are very pleased with the end results. We are also thrilled to announce that this project took home 1 st Place in the 2017 ASID Arizona South Design Excellence Awards for both Residential Space under 2500 sq. ft. and Specialty Space (the “game” room off the courtyard).

One extra special design element in this house was the wallpaper mural that was used in the master bedroom. Yes, that’s wallpaper! It literally looks like a work of art, which is what you have to think of it as. The company that creates these beautiful designs is Area Environments. They have so many beautiful designs that it can sometimes be hard to pick one. These wallpaper murals are also surprisingly easy to install. Here are a few others we often drool over, but we would highly recommend checking out their website for yourself:

What do you think? Do you dare to give one of these masterpieces a try in your bedroom, powder room, foyer or office space? It’s definitely a conversation piece in any home!

We have so much more to say about this wonderful project, but we need to save some stuff for the next blog! (We are being advised to try and post twice a
month. Ahhhhh!) Till then…. smile and be happy. It’s a good day!
